Welcome to a better way of working together
The thing we call conflict exists as a spectrum of thoughts and behaviours - from simple disagreement to outright aggression. The more skilful we are as individuals - and organizations - in expressing our genuine intentions, the more likely we are to get a fair hearing for our views.
The principles on which this approach is based include respect, fairness, open communication channels, clear speech and writing, understanding of how interpersonal relationships are built and maintained, and astute handling of those relationships to obtain and sustain cooperation. to realize mutual goals and objectives.
No enterprise is able to achieve more than that which the people involved can accomplish through their combined efforts. The more one-on-one skills and organizational communication are aligned along these shared principles, the greater the degree of success.
When our efforts are not aligned and genuine human differences are mismanaged, the cost of workplace conflict is borne by the individual as well as the organization.
There is a more productive way. We invite you to explore this website and hope that the ideas you find here will be useful in your search for better results.
